With so many different types of home locks to choose from, how do I know what I should get?
This is one of the most common questions that we get! The answer is that there are three primary factors to take into consideration:
- Function – This is the most important because you need to be safe and the lock has to fit your needs and life habits. Some people want a deadbolt, and other people will perpetually forget to lock the deadbolt, thus defeating its purpose. Some people like the ease of a a keyless entry, and other people loose combinations and fobs to easily.
- Style – In Charleston, we care about how things look! The style of the lock should fit with the overall look of the door, house, and even neighborhood.
- Cost – If the lock is too cheap, then you will be compromising on function and style. However it does not need to be overpriced to be quality!
